Casey Mickelson, President
I'm Casey Mickelson and I joined RIFP as President in June 1994. I have worked in the lumber wholesale business since 1978 when I joined one of our sister trading companies in Portland, Oregon as a rookie. I'm from a small town in Southern Oregon and attended Whitman College in Walla Walla, Washington, graduating in 1975. It was there I met and married may wife Lynn in August, 1975.
We settled in Portland, Oregon and started our family which now includes Tyler, Emily and John. Lynn spends her days managing our home and pursuing her interests which include Bible study, tennis, a book group as well as helping at John's school.
I enjoy most sports with baseball at the top of my list. (Go Cubs!) I also play golf and tennis. Additionally, I enjoy music and opportunities to travel to new destinations when I can.
What attracted me to our business in 1978, and what still drives me today, are the relationships one can build in our industry and the quality of people I work with every day.

Judy Martin, Controller
I'm Judy Martin and I grew up in Richmond, Virginia. I attended Virginia Commonwealth University and received a B.S., M.S. and postgraduate degrees in psychology and accounting.
My husband tom owns a stove and fireplace business here in town. We have three children and one grandson.
We have just moved to "the country" and have a camel, and emu and all kinds of other animals next door. We are really looking forward to being able to garden.
I came to work with RIPF in March of 1992 and still I find the lumber business challenging. I guess the biggest draw to the job for me is the great group of people I work with.
