RIFP’s Administrative Team is well experienced in all areas such as finance, accounting, credit, accounts payable, inventory, invoicing, and all other duties. We look forward to working with our existing and new customers and vendors to build a strong relationship which benefits each party.
Cory Scott
Controller
Cory joined RIFP in June 2014, and was drawn to the great, positive culture at RIFP and supportive family environment. He can be counted on to bring his calm demeanor to his role at work, but also know when to mix in his natural humor when it’s needed. When he isn’t in the office, Cory can be found managing his blended family, watching all of the sports, playing golf, or enjoying a good card game with friends.
Katie Brennan
Import Accounting Assistant
Joining our team in 2022, Katie was drawn to our "work hard, play hard" culture and our strong belief in teamwork. She can always be counted on to bring a big cup of coffee and a positive attitude to work, and when Katie is not in the office you can usually find her at a concert, sporting event, brewery, trying a new restaurant, or spending quality time with her family.
Sarah Turner
Credit Manager
Sarah started with the RIFP team in 2017, and immediately wanted to work here because of the kind people we have on our team, and the positive culture. She can always be counted on to bring a positive mindset to the office and a good attitude to make sure she and her colleagues are successful every day. When she isn’t in the office, Sarah can be found at home spending quality time with her family.
Courtney Gerhart
Front Desk Receptionist
Courtney joined the RIFP team in 2021, and was drawn to the fast paced and exciting environment. She can always be counted on to bring her passion for helping others, attention to detail, and team player mindset to work to help her coworkers. When she isn’t in the office, Courtney can usually be found outdoors playing sports, at the beach, or going out for food and drinks in the Richmond area.
Ash Griffith
Social Media/Website Manager & Trading Assistant
Ash joined RIFP in 2021 as the social media/website manager and trading assistant. She loved the collaborative, team environment and the fact that every day there is more to learn about the industry and grow from. When she isn’t assisting the traders or managing the media presence she can be found where the newest coffee shop is or continuing her reign as the Richmond area’s resident Pedro Pascal super-fan.
Linda Eames-Blanton
Accounts Payable Manager
Linda joined the RIFP team in 2003 and absolutely loves what she does. She loves that there are no two days the same, and that every day there is a different set of tasks to accomplish. When she isn’t in the office, Linda can be found reading, watching mysteries on TV with her husband, and spending quality time with her family.
Michelle Gregory
Accounts Payable Assistant
Michelle joined RIFP in 2015, and while she initially did not know much about the industry, she was drawn to the workplace atmosphere and the “work hard, play hard” attitude our team brings. Every day she can be counted on bringing a good attitude, and a willingness to help others and learn something new every day. When Michelle isn’t at RIFP she can be found spending time with her family and pups, or checking out the latest “hole in the wall” restaurant.
Mary Meade
Import Invoicing
Mary joined the RIFP family in 2013 as a part time student looking for full time employment, and was immediately drawn into the positive work culture and team environment. Every day we can count on her ability to multitask and ability to shift and manage varying priorities as part of our import invoicing. When she isn’t in the office, Mary can be found taking quiet walks to relax, or catching up with her family and friends.
Mike Elliott
Global Trade Compliance Manager
Mike started his journey with RIFP in November 2021, and was immediately drawn to the industry because of his love of working in the supply chain and compliance sectors. Mike can always be counted on to get the job done with his favorite snacks in hand, and when he isn't in the office he can be found in the gym.
Kaitlin Hoagland
Import Trader Assistant
Kaitlin joined the Richmond team in 2022, but has been in the Imports industry since late 2019. The chance to work with international vendors and customers drew her in immediately. She can always be counted on to bring a cup of coffee and her determination and drive to do the best she can every day. When she’s not in the office, you can usually find Kaitlin watching TV, perusing Barnes and Noble or playing with her cat, Bella.
Dawn Martin
Domestic Invoicing
Dawn has been with the RIFP team since 1995 after finding us in an ad in the newspaper. She loves the atmosphere and people she works with, and can be counted on to bring her sense of humor and her willingness to help her team however she can every day. When she isn’t in the office, Dawn can be found relaxing at home.
Amanda Barbuto
Import/Export Associate
Amanda started her journey with the RIFP team in 1996, and can always be counted on to bring not only her dedicated work ethic with her every day, but her sharp attention to detail. When she isn’t in the office, Amanda can be found spending quality time with her family, walking her dog, going to her boys’ soccer games, and finding the latest crock pot recipe to try.
Jessica Leon-Guerrero
Import/Export Associate
Jessica joined the RIFP team in January 2008 because she was drawn to the challenge. Working in the import department requires her to use her critical thinking and problem solving skills, and she loves that keeps her job interesting. We can count on Jessica to bring her killer communication skills to work every day, and her need to revise her email multiple times before hitting “send”. When she isn’t in the office, Jessica can be found at home reading or binge watching the newest series.
Randy Ames
Import Accounting Assistant
Randy began his journey with RIFP in 2022 and was drawn to the industry because he wanted to be a part of the process that supplies wood for people’s homes. We can always count on him to bring his signature moxie, savvy, and know-how along with a handy thesaurus to work every day. When Randy isn’t in the office, he can be found gardening, trying new recipes, or exploring Virginia with his girlfriend and their three senior pets.
Kayla Trippeer
Credit Analyst
Kayla joined the RIFP team in 2020, and believes the people are what truly makes the job enjoyable. Every day she can be counted on to bring her “can do” attitude, and a cup of coffee to tackle the day’s tasks at hand. When she isn’t in the office Kayla can be found at brunch with her puppy and friends.
Bobby Bui
Network Administrator
Bobby started with the RIFP team in 2000, and is sure to bring his love of learning new things and developing his skill set to everything he does. When he isn’t in the office, you can find Bobby spending time with his family, going to his boys’ sports games, and enjoying Sunday football.
Andrew Kouvaras
Freight Payables Accountant
Andrew joined the Richmond team in the summer of 2022 with his eye for detail and can do attitude. Everyday we count on him to bring his positive attitude to everything he does, and when Andrew isn't in the office he can usually be found relaxing at home playing the newest video game on his computer.
Tyler Newman
Trade Compliance Analyst
Tyler joined the RIFP team in 2022 and was originally drawn to our company because of our teams values, people, and commitment to excellence. We can always count on Tyler to bring his pragmatic but optimistic mindset, and his desire to continue to learn and grow. When he isn't in the office hanging out with his wife and two dogs, or at the gym.
